We are at the end of the Simply Modern series and we hope that the previous modern techniques have inspired you as much as they inspire us. We definitely think that these last two modern looks will not disappoint. They definitely make an impact and will turn heads.

Much like repetition, using slabs to create a book-matched surface creates a high drama focal point….art created by nature. Not only does it create a focal point it also allows for a more seamless look with less interruption.

By using different textures you can create layers and warmth in a space. For example, you could use one material but mix it up by using that same material with different textures. Most people know that stone can be done in a polished and honed finish but did you know it can also come tumbled, leathered, scored/raked, split-faced, sandblasted and many more. You can not only create texture with stone but wood, metal, glass, and wallcoverings!
